Future Generation Tech Lab

March 2013 was a pretty exciting month. The school received a grant worth $15, 000 to purchase technology equipment to be used primarily for Media Studies 120 and Journalism 120.

The students used photos they took as part of the grant application to Future Shop Canada (see below). Our school was one of twelve schools selected in Canada for 2013 out of hundreds of applications to become a Future Generation Tech Lab. The equipment purchased will allow our students to continue to explore different ways to create media, and it will also be available for other classes to use it.
